IQAS ECA timeline tracking

So i see you as first guy in Dec who did the payment - can you please guide what technique you used for payment

I had trouble making payment using Chrome so I switched to Firefox. I had multiple tabs open and kept refreshing them.

I made my payment on Dec 1. The mode selected to send the transcript was by post. I submitted the documents in the university physically. At first, I was informed that the University will send the transcript via post but a week later the officials said that the transcript will be sent to IQAS via email. My query is how should I proceed further?
Should I contact IQAS and inform them that my transcripts will no longer be sent via post but email?

Or is there any other way to go about it?

Just drop an email to IQAS. They will consider the electronic documents which are received from your university.

Which email address are you referring to? My current status is "Waiting for Transcripts". Yesterday, my university confirmed that they have sent the transcript via email. I will drop an email to them.

Oh, this is surprising because they say Firefox is not the recommended tool :-( so with the same login, you logged in? and when you say refresh you mean - F5 or something different.

Yes, they do say Firefox is not recommended but nothing was working for me, so I thought why not give it a try. Yes, I logged in using the same ID. As for refresh, I pressed the refresh/reload button on top left. Also, I unblocked all the pop-ups.

Hello, my ECA from IQAS states the following for my Engineering and PGDM degrees:

1. Four-year undergraduate degree program
2. Two-year graduate diploma program

Both degrees are from India.

Now while creating the profile in express entry portal, which option should I select in level of education:
1. Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years;
OR
2. Master's degree, or professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession

Please help which option my ECA lies in as this will create a difference of 7 CRS in my application.

You have to fill the contact form, and in the message section just write your query.

As per my knowledge, the first option is for you. Because it is two years of graduate diploma program, not masters. However, you can confirm with a similar person having same ECA.

Quick view on the steps (you can find detailed steps in one of the threads)

1) Contact them by posting a webform on their website. Then they will start a communication channel with you on Email.
2) Ask your college to send your transcripts to them via email (also include stamped degree copy and iqas form).
3) Truecopy will then verify and reach out to you for payment. (total is around 700+500, 2 step payment)
4) And once paid they will send the docs to IQAS

Do I need to send both signed/stamped degree and transcript to Truecopy? or only transcripts?

2 quick questions:

1. My university issued a provisional degree at the time of graduation, can I upload that on the docs page?

2. For India, is there an option for institute to directly emial the docs to iqas? basically any other method other than post or truecopy?

if you are getting 2 degrees evaluated in IQAS then also you will have to pay more, as you have to pay per degree(this was atleast my understanding while filling the application). Please read the threads and am sure you will find the right answer.

You have 2 options:
1) You get only MBA evaluated (less time and you pay for only one degree). If you get Masters then no further action required. If you get bachelors, then you get the other degree also evaluated (or better go to WES and get grad and post grad evaluated together for same fee and quick result. As then all you can opt for is 2 degrees and not masters in Express entry form)
2) You send both MBA and graduation degree (my view you will have to pay for each degree). Also more time.

So for pgdm on the docs upload page, did you select degree or diploma?

If I use truecopy, at the acknowledgement page for will you be sending the docs directly to Iqas? Shall I choose yes or no?

  What? i cant believe this...
  its been almost 7 weeks now and still my status is “in line for processing” that too the status changed from “submitted” since a week.
