Hi friends,
I have a doubt in STEP 5..that is the payment calculation in IQAS application form. I need ECA from IQAS for immigration to canada so i require a specialised asessment of $200 right?I have a Bsc degree and and MBA degree to be assessed. I am under the impression that it is covered under $200.
what is the answer to: how many additional degrees/credential to be asessed? ____________(Qty* $75)?
+the courier fees for returning documents back to india is stated as $45. So totally i should be paying only $245 or more?Those who are done with the process please guide.

Yes, $200 is for all your credentials that you want to get evaluated..You're evaluating your MBA and BSc as additional degree if I'm not mistaken.. I only had one degree evaluated so i'm not sure about this but my brother by law got two degrees evaluated for same $200 fee...when you proceed to pay online you will get final amount payable..so don't worry you won't be paying more or less..

Courier charges were $75 to Pakistan so I paid $275.

Need guidance.

I am about to send my application package to IQAS

I want my BE from VTU and MBA from SMU DE assessed, so planning to send my transcripts together personally. WOULD THAT BE OK?

Is it required to send the ACADEMIC REQUEST FORM enclosed within the sealed transcript envelope?
can I put it outside the sealed transcript envelope ?
Is it really necessary to send the ACADEMIC REQUEST FORM?

Can I enclose the academic request forms and sealed transcript envelopes in one big envelope and send???

Hello,

It is absolutely necessary to get the Academic Request Form filled by issuing institute for each degree and sealed along with verified transcripts in institution's envelope. So, you will have to ARFs both sealed in respective envelopes with verified transcripts.

You can, however, post both sealed envelopes yourself with your application package. But, make sure you explain in additional information section why you are mailing them yourself. I had written down that my institute refused to send them but the transcripts are in a sealed envelope verifiable by institute. and it worked for me.

Hi Hira,

I mailed them yesterday and got the following reply today morning via auto generated email.

'Thank you for applying to the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) for an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) for immigration purposes. This is to confirm that your academic documents were received by the IQAS office and your file is now placed in line for processing.'

I had sent transcript along with other docs in a single package. Does this email confirm acknowledgement of all docs and next correspondence from IQAS will comprise of ECA report or I will be getting another AOR from their end post which assessing process will get initiated?
