I recently applied at IQAS for assessment (ECA) of my MCA degree (2009-2012) from Sikkim Manipal University Distance Education, my study centre was in Mohali, Punjab. I have read many success stories that said IQAS does the assessment of SMU DE degrees.
Now, IQAS has denied the assessment saying if the study centre was outside of Sikkim, then the degree won't be considered for assessment. After IQAS received all my documents, they asked me via email about my study centre and upon my reply they denied the assessment stating the reason above (that only degrees done at Sikkim campus will be assessed)
Is there anyone else who is in the same situation as mine and has any suggestions how to get the degree assessed for PR or rebuttle IQAS and how? A negative assessment of MCA has drastically reduced my CRS score and hence I'm really looking to see what are my options .Anyone who has any idea on this, please help.
Side note: I know of a case last assessed positively on Oct 11, 2018. This person also did MCA DE in 2012 from SMU, study centre outside Sikkim.
