INVITING WIFE TO CANADA

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME WITH YOUR ADVICE......

I AM CURRENTLY LIVING IN CANADA WITH A 3 YEAR VALID WORK PERMIT AND EMPLOYED AT IBM. MY WIFE IS LIVING IN INDIA WITH HER PARENTS. RIGHT NOW SHE APPLIED FOR A TEMPORARY RESIDENT VISA TO STAY HERE WITH ME AND UNFORTUNATELY IT GOT REJECTED. IS IT NOT POSSIBLE TO APPLY FOR TEMPORARY RESIDENT VISA OR CAN ONLY APPLY FOR VISIT VISA. PLEASE NEED SOME EXPERT ADVICE.WHAT SHOULD I DO. WE WANT TO LIVE TOGETHER. PLEASE ADVICE ME. ITS BEEN TWO YEARS WE LIVING LIKE THIS. PLEASE I NEED SOME HELP.PLEASE.....

Temporary resident permit is a permit based on H&C reasons and generally immigration does not agree that it is a H&C reason for you and your wife to be able to live together, otherwise all couples in your situation would apply for it. Your wife just has to show more proof that she will not overstay in Canada.

Is your job skilled and are you applying for PR? You would of course apply for your wife too and when you both get it, she will have no problem joining you. Until then, she has to try to apply for a TRV again and try to prove that she will not overstay in Canada.

THANKS A LOT FOR THE RESPONSE. I STUDIED FOR 2 YEARS HERE IN CANADA AND NOW WORKING ON MY STUDIED FIELD AND THINK I CAN APPLY FOR MY PR TOO. I AM THINKING OF APPLYING FOR A VISIT VISA FOR MY WIFE SHOWING MORE EVIDENCE THAT SHE WILL GO BACK. BUT NOW NOT SURE WHEN SHE CAN APPLY AGAIN. HER APPLICATION GOT REJECTED LAST WEEK. PLEASE ADVICE ME FOR THIS TOOO...THANKS A LOT.
