Hello. I want to invite my parents, brother and my grandmother to visit me and my wife in Toronto for 1 month. Can I represent them and submit their applications from the same family group in the new IRCC portal ? If not, can anyone please help me on the process as I cannot seem to find the right process to invite parents and grandparents.

Sure you can represent them all. They need to sign the representative form giving you authorization. If brother is under 22, he is part of your parents as one family group. Grandmother is her own group as she is not dependant on her children. Grandmother shows her own funds, travel history, ties to return and your letter of invitation. Make sure they all can afford a one month visit.
Would personally start with the most important visitors because inviting a whole family may lead to concerns depending on funds, ties to their own country, previous international travel, etc.
@Naturgrl Thanks for the quick response. My brother is not dependent on my parents and is above 22, so I would believe he is a different group too. So that makes 3 groups (my father and mother), grandmother and my brother. Do i need to submit applications one group at a time or is there a way where i can create 3 different groups and submit them at the same time ?
Also, I will be sponsoring all of them and I am showing that each of them would need 4-5k per month (given they will be staying with me). Thus, apart from my pay stubs, if I can show savings around 20k or more, that would cover me for the expenses right ?

Do you mean i submit applications for my parents first followed by other family members ? Does it matter if I am eventually sponsoring them all ? If yes, when should i start the second application if not immediately after submitting the first one ?
They are each separate so one group at a time. No such thing as sponsorship for a visa. You provide a letter of invitation saying they are staying with you, and they show their own funds. Income is not cash in the bank. You can include your bank statements but IRCC doesn’t have to consider your funds unless for a super visa.
If they are each showing $20k that may be enough. They want to show enough in their bank accounts to be able to visit Canada but not use all savings. People on this forum are refused for lack of funds with $20K.
So they each show their own banks statements, travel history and ties to return (job letter with approved leave, income property, business etc.).
They are visiting you aren’t sponsoring them. You are sending them an invitation letter. Unless they are have extensive travel records and significant funds and ties to their home country then it is a red flag to have a large extended family group arrive all together and can create concern they are going to try and remain in Canada.

Let me rephrase my question, I want to invite my parents, brother and grandmother to visit me in Toronto and I want to sponsor their visit by showing my funds in Canada. They haven't travelled outside India but are all self-employed (except my grandmother). Is it possible to invite them all at the same time ? Or should I invite them separately at different times ?
You can’t provide your own finances as a guarantee for their visit although a few have managed to get approved with it mostly for parents in poor countries but would not count on this. As a visitor your brother, grandmother and brother will each be responsible for showing their own funds, their own ties to India, property ownership, etc. if you make over LICO you could apply for a supervisa for your parents and that would primarily depend on your own income not theirs. If they have never travelled outside India it would raise concerns if most of your close family is wanting to travel all at once. Your brother will likely struggle to get approved given his stage of life with minimal ties or savings. Your grandmother may also struggle depending on her situation. Your parents likely have the highest chance of approval. If this an all or nothing situation you can submit all 3 applications at once but would personally start with just your parents applying for a TRV or supervisa if they qualify. If brother and grandmother are denied they may have a better chance after your parents return after their first visit. Your brother needs to focus on creating ties to India and saving.
Thanks for the details. I have started with just my parents and my grandmother’s applications. I mentioned probable travel date as September so in case if it gets approved but takes time and my parents are unable to travel, will it help if i start my brother’s application after September say in November so that it has a better chance of approval and have them all visit next year ?
