I was a student in Canada, and now i have done my graduation. My status as a student is expiring in August 2015, and i have already applied for my PGWP but the application is in process.
I want to invite my parents on my convocation, and the visa processing time is 3 months. Which mean i should apply as early as possible.
My question is that , can i invite someone on convocation to Canada, when i am not sure if my PGWP application will be accepted to declined?

Then what should i write in my own status details. I am not a student anymore and i am not on PGWP for now. If lets say, they decline my PGWP application, i probably have to leave Canada before my convocation.
Don't your think, this can ring a bell to Visa Officer? How am can i guarantee that i will be in Canada at the particular time that i am mentioning for the ppl to visit me.

Yes you are. You are until August. I assume your convocation is before your status expires, if not you didn't mentioned it.

When is your convocation? When does the student status expire?

Even if you have a PGWP you can't guarantee that.
