Inviting a friend to Canada

Hello everyone,

Someone inviting their friend to Canada for visit (temporarily under 6 months)
Can pictures of two friend that was taken around 1 year ago be submitted ad a proof o frelatiodip

There is no need to prove that relationship.
 
You don't have to answer if you don't know what the answer is or you don't want to say it.

Uh? I'll repeat the answer:

You do not need to prove that relationship.

Your pictures are not needed nor wanted by CIC. "Proving you are friends" is of no concern to CIC.

Thanks for the answer, however after the profile is issued, one of the documents we needed to upload was proof of relationship!

This only applies for family.

Anyway, upload them if that gives you peace of mind. It doesn't hurt (nor benefit).

Yes I did, but it was a little awkward. You know on every section that files need to be uploaded ie: Proof of means of financial support or invitation letter, there is a question mark that if you roll the mouse over, it will provide some help. On this section (proof of relationship) it describe and shows example of proof of relationship as birth certificate showing same last names like some one inviting a relative. however they asked before this profile is created that who you want to visit and one of the option is " family or friend" and this is what I had chosen.
