Hey everyone would like to seek expert advise, i was invited to to attend conference I applied 2 weeks before the conference, the conference has ended while the visa application is still being processed. Will I still be able to get a visa

Maybe you did not factor in the estimated processing time for your country/region. Anyway

A decision will be made on your application regardless of the dates of the conference. If IRCC believes you have a reason to visit then a visa will be granted

My I received a message that my processed passport has been dispatched, two days have passed but I haven't got any mail whether I was approved or denied. When I linked my application on line it show your application is in progress on the final decision. What could this mean?

You won't get an approval/refusal email. You'll know when you get your passport

Hi, the final decision depends on the VO but from the experience in the past, they may likely state that you ought to have applied earlier as the conference you wanted to attend has just been concluded.. Best of luck

Why would you need the visa if your purpose was to attend the conference that is now over?
