imo they are doing security checks on you which have not yet finished..there is also a possibility that unfortunately ur name matched to some unwanted person so they are conducting a thorough check
this is just my assumption and i can be wrong..order gcms to check status of ur case if security and criminality checks are over or still taking place.

Ok, so my question is, if they are still doing security check on me then why they have encashed my RPRF on 27th Aug? I have also received its receipt from NDVO on 10th sept...as far as i know they should encash RPRF if and only if my security check and med result have passed o.w. they will return me RPRF cheque without issuing me visa, but im wondering why they are not sending my PP back... any idea?

VO should not be holding passports unless it is ready for visa stamping. it is unfair to prevent anyone from traveling outside the country.
