Hello there, it is really up to you if you want to provide your income information. When I applied for my aunt and mom living in the Philippines for TRV to come here in Canada, I did provide copies of my T4, payslips and COE.

When I invited my friend from Singapore, I just provided a letter of invitation, stating that my friend will live with me and I will shoulder food as well. It got approved even if I did not provide my income information.

Thanks for the info. I did give an invitation for my father-in-law and mother-in-law with my paystub, T4 since I am going to take care of their expenses. In my relatives case, I can allow them to stay with me but am not going to bear their expenses. So, thinking if it is really important to disclose my salary info to them :)
