invitation letter financial support

I would like to invite a friend from Phillipines to visit Canada. She will be staying with me at my house but for financial support would it be ok to use the bank statements of my brother? Or must the financial support be specifically by the actual inviter?

You cannot use your brother's statements unless he is also inviting that person to visit Canada.

So I can make the invitation letter by myself and my brother and my friend can still stay with me at my house?

Still confused. My brother and I each have our own homes - same city. If I make the invitation from both us, can she still stay at my house even though the financial support is by my brother? The bank statements will show his address, not mine.

Yes.

Once the visa is approved, the visa holder can stay with you or your brother or both. The visa office don't care.
