Investor immigration to Quebec (applied 2016) waiting for interview

Hi Canuck Please try to understand what is CSQ under QIIP it is just provincial approval to apply PR on the basis of investment. PR entitle free medical free schooling and children allowance and free travel to Canada without visa. Does CSQ entitle you all these. If CSQ is that powerful than why all of us waiting for PR we can simply move to Quebec.

Because presumably then you've not got the thick end of $1million spare to invest and cut your wait time from 2 years to 5. Seriously, big hitters with that sort of spare cash ain't coming to Canada for it's welfare state!

- 01/08/2013: docs to HK
-14/7/2016 CSQ i received it at same day of interview,
-10/ 2016 : docs to federal

-26/1/2017: received AOR
-11/ 2018 : Medical request+ pre- arrival letter
-12/ 2018: payment of PR right+ pp request
- 01/ 2019: received CORP et visa
- 07/ 2019 landed
I stayed in Montreal upto now, any thing need to ask me, feel free my friends!!

I saw many cases, my friends also...they applied for work permit after CSQ and landing. All schoolfee of the kid is free...medical free need to claimed by job of parents

May I ask what Visa Office in your case and do you know if the processing time depends on your country of residence and/or visa office?

Yes, actually, 24 months finish....but i had 2 bussiness tríp on Nov 2018 and Jan 2019 for medical check-up and sending pp late. At my time before, time line to process was 36 months, an i asked officer who interviewed me, he said around 18-24 months. The processing time later is longer than, specially cause of covid 19

All be good here, safe , clean, pure ...!! But the job or business here is quiet difficult to earn money! Profite the time to earn and save money in our country!!
Spend the first year to study french, driving license, and find house to buy.....second year then think job or business!!

I think it depends at a lot of things : security check( police clearance and history of travel....) , finance and intention to live here!! Prove them clairely then all be good!

There number of investors category immigration programs based on passive investment or active investment. When I applied there was only Quebec investor programs which is passive investors but now many provinces have started investors program Yes your family will be included except your children over 21 years
