Yes they’re far easier to manage and easier to rent out. Also if you’re buying before your land then absolutely condo only. Managing an empty house there in the winter is madness. We flew out there twice lt winter to manage our property and we had friends who were looking after the house in our absence. With a condo it’s much easier.

True Friends are like Assets, they stand with u in every situation. But that’s the blessing me and my family couldn’t get till now. Hope and pray to find good friends in Canada.


Buying things r very easy but selling them is very hard.
I can only buy home after I get PR and reach there. Will have to decide as per children’s education. My elder daughter will be looking for some university by that time.

I have seen prices increased and dropped in last 5 years. So the whole market is risky.
But we should buy something.

My agent did some research and offered me 2 offplan condo properties in downtown.

Thank you for the good wishes. Our journey began in 2013 and we got csq in 2016. Federal application began in jan 2017. So yes, it’s been long and I can’t wait to be done. We applied through a lawyer in Karachi but have lived in Dubai too for many years. Moved back to Karachi in 2008.

Thank you all ( you are really my best friends ) for all the information and your Advice ,,, I replay your Question :-
1- I’m not chinese Citizen,,, and I lived with my family alone since 2007 in China ,,, my children born in China ,,, and no one we have here in China . So I can’t leave my children alone . This the main problem ,,, so we must apply together .
2- before I only complete the application ,,, I never wrote paper to officer why I apply for travel Visa and where I go or what I do ? Maybe this is part reason of rejected before my lawyer wrote the application not me but never have reason for why I visit Montreal only my lawyer representing me as immigration Lawyer ,,, so that I was Visiting my lawyer no have other reason . ( all the reject visa is before CSQ)
So is there some suggestions? If I apply together with my family what I write in the paper to the officer ?
Other thing Ash1969 do you attend the festival hold in Montreal between 10 July to 12 July ? And what the advantage from this festival? I need visit Montreal from 3 July to 13 July so my time with festival time . And if you attend the festival where is you live in Montreal ? Hotel or you rent house or condo ?

This is a start up festival . In other words here people with new/innovative ideas meet people who invest in such ideas ( startups)
I like to make such investments- but unfortunately this time I won’t be attending
All going well my son may get admission in some university in canada for his undergrad , for which I may visit around August mid .

Ash try for McGill or Concordia. The minute you become a resident your fee will drop to next to nothing. Plus it will really help with the visa application. Shows intent to settle in Quebec. Your csq will help greatly here.

September 2022 . Hope to get it sooner than that - amen . (It’s actually when they received the application + 48 months )

Got rejected in McGill , univ of Montreal got the selection - but his French not upto mark , so dropped it
