Intra Company Transfer Processing Time

Hello Everyone,
My company is processing ICT for me and I am applying for work permit myself. My question is in my application list, i see that medical test is under required list of applications. In this case, should i complete upfront medical test and then submit the application or will CIC ask me to submit the medical during processing of my application?

If it is a work permit application, Have you gotten a job offer number from IRCC?
If yes, go ahead with your application, and then carry on to do your Medical Assessment through IOM to avoid any delay,

Yes, my employer has submitted offer letter in employer portal and received Offer of Employment number.

I have another question. Is it advisable to apply open work permit for my spouse with my application or better to apply from within Canada. My spouse and child has visitor visa in Canada already.

It's convient to apply your spouse work permit with yours together, whether your spouse apply with you or not won't affect your visa decision

Hi..My ICT VISA online application is submitted 7 weeks back(On July 8 th) and yet to receive an update. could you please advise how much time it takes approximately .

I have my ICT (LMIA exempt) filed 5 weeks back, there is no response yet from VFS or embassy

Is VFS tracking the only way to track the status of the WP application? or is there a canada govt website through which status of processing can be tracked? (like US)

One thing I can only say is that, if your position fall under managerial as an intracompany transferee, then your application will be treated faster and the visa approved in max of 4 weeks, if not, there is a long waiting period,

If your application will be declined, it would have been declined before 5 weeks, but since it was not declined up to 5 weeks, there is still assurance that it will be approved.

Just relax guy and don't give yourself an unnecessary worries

Please find below the timelines for my application processing
Applied on July 8th
Got update from consulate on Sep 26 -After our company followed up with consulate
Visa got stamped on Oct 2nd
Travelled on 27th - according to our convenience we booked ticket for 27th
