Hi all,
I'm an international student from the caribbean studying in the USA (undergrad,2yrs done) and I'm considering working (and eventually living) in Canada.
I know I need at least 1yr work experience to apply for PR as skilled worker, but I was wondering if it's possible to work in Canada after graduation instead of returning to my home country to work and then apply for PR.
So my question is: as I would have no work experience after graduation, is it possible to work in Canada (assuming i had a job offer) by applying for a temporary work permit? (and then later applying for PR)
so far i can either:
1. return home, work for a while, then apply for PR as a skilled worker
2. or work in the USA for a yr (under Optional Practical Training) and then apply for PR in canada.
thanks
