Your job history is just something every applicant has to provide. If there were gaps in the one you sent in with the application, it is normal for CIC to ask for a new one.

Just do your best to list all your jobs or whatever else you were doing for the time period they asked about. Do not leave any gaps! If you cannot remember the exact date you started or ended a job, give an approximate date (at least the month, if possible), then write an explanation stating you do not remember the exact date and have no way to find it out.

If there were some times when you had no job, you must state what you were doing during that time: studying, being a homemaker, travelling, unemployed, etc. They want a complete list of what you were doing ; if there are any gaps, they will ask you to do the form again.
This is probably something they will not ask about at the interview; or they might ask a few questions about it. It is really more for your background check. At the interview they will probably concentrate more on whether your relationship with your sponsor is genuine.

thank you reply to me ; yes they want my activities and addresses from 01.01.2000 until today i mean 2012 ;and month/year without any gap

but plz i writ all months 12 yers ?,,, i means its to much i think i can writ them what jobe i had and the yer leave and all where i live now

Try to remember as best as you can.
We had to do that as well. They said the IMM5669 form is incorrect. It asks to list the last 10 years, or since you were 18, whichever comes first. In our case, the last 10 years came first so we only did 10 years. However, they requested us to go all the back to age 18 so we had to do 20 years in total.

We guessed for the most part. Not many job places will keep you on file for that many years anyways, some may not even be existent anymore so don't worry about them calling to confirm your employer from 20 years ago.

I had to fill out all addresses I lived in since I was 18, which was only 6 years at the time I filled out my application. In these 6 years I had lived in 3 different countries, worked in 4 countries, been to 3 universities and lived in 15 different addresses. I did provide everything.
Fill it out as well as you can. Try to remember, get people to help you out with it

My husband is 54 years old...it wasn't easy to remember every address and every job since he was 18 years old! It was a whole page in addition to the spaces on the form, and it took a long time to pull it all together (he never thought he would need to remember all that!). He found that just getting everything you do remember written down, and then start trying to fill in the gaps, worked pretty well. I don't think you have much choice other than to provide the information.. do your best and get it sent to them asap.

Good luck,
Annie

I doubt you lived in a different place every single month for 12 years ...

So:
