hi guys

i want to apply for gcms notes how can i apply is there site or i have to call immigration plzz help me

you need to be in Canada to apply or your sponsor can order GCMS notes for you. there are 2 forms you need to download, you need to sign one consent form authorizing your spouse to get information about your case from CIC.

Step by step:


Print off IMM 5563 (05-2012) E - Access to Information and Personal Information Request
Section A:
1. Access to Information Act
2. English/French (your choice)
3. Email (fastest way)
4. No (because you do not live in Canada you cannot request on your own, your spouse will have to officially request for you)

Section B:
This section is for you to fill out.
Family Name (Last Name)
Given Name(s) (First Name/Middle Name)
DOB
Electronic Files - Status of an Appliacation - File Number (you would get this from the AOR or Approval, ours started with an 'F') - Location (in your case its New Delhi, India)
DO NOT fille out the Immigratrion File in Canada section or the next section down that says Physical File

Section C:
This section your spouse that lives in Canada will fill out:
Tick the box "this request is usbmitted by a Canadian Citizian or PR"
Mr. Mrs. Ms
Family Name (Last Name)
Given Name(s) (First Name/Middle Name)
Full Address
Phone Number
Email
Requesters Signature: your spouse to sign and date

NOW:

Print off IMM 5475(12-2004) E - Authoriy to Release Personal Information To A Designated Individual
Choose One:
Tick off the first box "i authorize"
Questions 1-4 are for you, the principal applicant to fill out
1. Family Name and Given Name
2. DOB
3. Name of Office:New Delhi, India Location of Office: New Delhi, India
4. File Number or Client ID

Questions 5-6 are for your spouse, the Canadian citizian or PR to fill out
5. Family Name and Given Name
6. Address, Phone and Email (make sure to use the same email that you provided when you first submitted the application)

7. Principal Applicant to sign and date/Sponsor to sign and date

Pay the $5 online, print the receipt and fill it out with your sponsors information and email all 4 pages.

fill the forms out and then scan them and emailed them, the email address is at the bottom of form IMM-5563

what vo said to u abt visa, i mean how long they gonna take to issue u visa,,, when did u done ur medicals

i just show your time line for the visa u applied, can u share ur case or ur marriage , wats wrong even ur medicals are expired long back , they r holding your PP also from long time .
If u dont mind can u share ur case file or i mean marriage ?

he said, he is convinced that relationship is genuine and then he checked my medical date and PCC and said, ok everything is fine, you will get your visa soon. he said, you can move to canada anytime before your medical expires (Nov 2012). he didnt tell me exact time, how long it will take.
did you send your passport back to ND, i hope you receive your visa soon, its really hard to wait for such a long time

what did they tell you after your interview?? i think, its taking longer because of your travel history....

we had successful interview this morning and hope same for everyone else. i want to share my exp. with all of you and i will be glad, if it can help you
first thing, they open at 8:20 and car parking is in front of Australia embassy. we had trouble finding parking
i think they make list of questions according to your case and they did same in my case, so questions will be different for everyone. My interviewer was a Canadian man and he asked me if i need an interpreter for my first language. there was one hindi/punjabi interpreter also . they said it would be easier for you, if you give interview in Hindi and i said ok . then VO started questioning from start of our relationship and i gave all answers in english, i didnt use interpreter at all. all questions were based on our relationship and our personal life so i dont think, if you need to prepare for that. you just need to know each other very well
they called me in at first and asked-

*when, where and how did you meet?
*when and where did you live together?
*development of your relationship after very first day?
*why didnt you get married to someone from India??, why to someone from Canada??
*personal life of sponsor, school, colleges, courses, work and all important dates such as, date of moving to Canada, date of leaving Canada and entering India.
*if she is pregnant or not, if not, why not ?
*detailed information about her parents
*engagement, marriage and reception, who attended and who didnt, if not why??
*about rituals in religious ceremony and number of guests
*wedding album
*future plans
*what kind of job, you are looking for?
*what side of bed, you sleep on

then they called my wife in and sent me out and asked her some questions from listed above, to match our answers and then called me in and said congratulations
i think its not a big deal to handle interviews for a real couple, they ask very simple questions about , you, your spouse and your lives, nothing more than that.

Did you remember all the dates of your travel ??? as was asked in the interview.

thanks in_can i think i was able to do that because of all member's support, these good wishes gave us lot of strength and self-confidence and finally, we did it i hope cricket will get his visa soon
