I have appiled for investor immigration 21/12/2011 and received confirmation on 12/01/2012, could you please tell when i should go on the interview?

My freinds is there any different in time process if you apply from quebeq office or from other worlds office?

No one can predict time frame for interview call, because its various by case to case,
I applied in September 2010, and receive acknowledgement of document in December 2010, than receive document update call in December 2012, and still waiting for interview call,
So just wait and see,

You are right. It varies case to case.

@Raim : It realy varies case to case but acoording to my experience you will get an interview call within next year i.e 2014 if not before !

At the meantime you can just relax & concenctrate on your daily cores of life instead og taking so much stress as nothing is gonna happen in near future !

Actually they have been working since many years, but you know there is some difference between Investor category and others, I mean when I businessman plan for immigration, that means he is planning to di business there, but if waiting list is unidentified period for many years, their business interest killed and they apply just for passport,
Canada immigration mush think and differentiate between investor and other category,

Sarabai is absolutely correct.... I am a living example of that problem. I applied for Federal Entrepreneur in 2007. My AOR said processing in 3 - 4 years so I began running my successful business with that time frame in mind as my goal was to sell my business when it was time to immigrate. Every business decision has been based on this premise. I have turned away from potentially lucrative business deals because the return was more long term and I did not foresee being here that long.

What is worse in my opinion is not the length of time that it takes, it is the complete lack of reliable information on what to expect in the process. Sept will make it 6 years since I applied and no one can give me any idea how long the process may take again. I wrote CIC recently, after they acknowledged receipt of additional documents, asking for an estimated time before I hear anything further from them and they do not even have the courtesy to reply. My daughter who was 11yrs old when we applied will be ready for university in 3 years time and I cant even begin to figure out what to do. I thought we would have been in Canada by then, or even if we were refused we could have planned our life accordingly.

Buckle down Sarabi... this is a bumpy ride. Many times, up to today, I feel to abandon the entire process and move on with my life.
