Hi All,
Finally my appointment has been set to see CJ by next week. I have been waiting for that since last October, 2013 after I have passed my test. I have also received last 2012 pre-test RQ which I have mailed back with all required documents.
During the test day after the test, the CO gave us (me and my wife) very hard time during the interview as she has printed some pages from facebook account stating that I am not located in Canada which I tried to explain to her that its not updated profile as I am not fan of FB and anyway its not part of my application. Also she found resident visa in my passport which is newly issued and I tried to explain to her is out the range of my residency in my application as Its just stamped after 1yr and 2months of my application. She also noticed some missing stamps in my passport for some travels which I have declared in residence calculator, however there were some missing stamps. She asked my with regards the movement report which was not with me as I didn't apply for it before the test. finally she said that I should have to see the CJ.

I have obtained the movement report which she was asking for so I can presented during the hearing and got some translation for some old stamps.

The interview with is set at 9:00 am for me and 1:00 pm for my wife.

I have few questions:

1. Is it normal to have separate interview for couples with CJ?
2. We have two kids which one of the part of our application, shall we bring them to the interview?
3. What Document shall we bring during the interview?
4. Is helpful to bring some witnesses with us to see the judge and confirm our stay in Canada?
5. What can I expect during the interview?
6. What is the approx. time period for interview?
7. Will the judge give his decision right away after the interview and inform me in spot?

Btw, my office is Niagara Falls.

Hope to hear soon from you guys

In my opinion , Fingerprint on May, 2014 is a very good sign , they are ready to approve once they make sure you can prove your residency.

Good luck

If your child is under 16 than not required and they have not call so no need to
take your child.

you should take the following documents.

CBSA report, ministry of health record, your job record, house rent/own paper
bills, bank statements , credit card, costco membership if u are and interview
will be approx 15-20 minutes and judge have 60 days to decide.

Most important that you are in the country for required number of days than
you do not have to worry.

2. I'm not sure if you can bring you children to the interview, but you should be complete report cards for their time in school during your residency period.
4. I don't believe you'll be able to bring witnesses, but I suggest having your potential witnesses write letters (ideally notarized by a commissioner of oaths)

You can call the Call Centre to ask if children are allowed at Judge Hearings. Also, what does it say on the letter regarding the Judge's hearing. I imagine there would be something on there.
