interview venue change

Hi Guys,
I am sponsoring my wife and we had an interview on september 10th 2018,in Abudhabi which we couldnt attend. Requested to change the venue to India . File entirely transfered from London Uk to New delhi on august 1st. Havent hered from them yet. Its been 4 months and I am still waiting for something. Have any body changed their interview venue or schedule. Please give me any information regarding the timeline experienced. Thanks.

It typically takes a few months for interviews to be scheduled. Unfortunately many visa offices have backlogs when it comes to interviews. By asking for a change to the interview location, you triggered additional wait time first for the file to be transferred and then for the interview to be scheduled. Hopefully you are close to the new interview being scheduled - but also quite possible you have a few more months to wait.

You didn't request just to change the interview venue. You are changing the country that's handling the interview. I don't know if your VO will change as well since it's been transfer from London to India.

There aren't any stats available for stuff like this. It's an unusual request so I would expect longer processing times.

The local MPs office said the file is electronicallly transfered to new delhi on august 1st but the diplomatic bag containing the files are not recieved there yet.

How did you inform them for venue change and when did you received response on your interview rescheduled to new delhi?
