hi everyone

If anyone out there has already been through the interview process to get their Visitors visa (TRV) - could you please share your interview experience???

What questions did they ask?
How can we prepare for our interview?
Any tips or suggestions?
How was the process crossing the border once your arrived in Canada?

I have found info on this forum about the Permanent Res. visa interview, but nothing yet about the TRV visitors visa, so this would be really helpful.

Thanks!

there is no interview if they are satisfied with your documents. please provide all documents (including originals) per the CIC website for the particular consulate. Otherwise it may delay the process.

For me , I applied in the consulate. I had to give an interview as my H1B visa in USA was expiring.
They asked me questions about whether my H1b is getting extended, purpose of visit and approved the case for visitor visa.
