Alright, I've applied for a school and everything but the documents aren't being processed yet.
Just asking in advance.

The programs I applied in are undergraduate psychology and office administration.

The thing is, I already graduated from a post secondary education in the Philippines and am currently employed.

Should I admit that I'm after the PGWP -> PNP?

I can prove with my financial records that I can pay for 2 years worth of tuition and 1 year worth of living expense (the 2nd year funds will come later).

I don't plan on doing anything that goes against their law or immigration, this is my real reason. Do the immigration officers frown on people using the student stream to emigrate?

1. Chances of interviews for Canadian Study permit are pretty low. Mostly, all cases are decided without interviews.
2. If, somehow, you got called for Interview then you should never disclose your intention of PGWP and especially PNP. It will make your case weaker. One of the few things that are accessed in every case is that is the applicant ready to return back? Keep in mind that SP is a temporarily permit and you have to show that you intend to say temporarily in Canada.

There is a term 'dual intent' in Canada visa and visa officer knows that most of the persons are after PR, but one should prove that he will come back after completing studies , so admitting that u are after PR will not be a good idea , secondly interviews are very rare.....

Alright. Thank you.

But won't having a degree here make my case weaker?
Why study and get another diploma if I already have one and a job?

Of course, I can just tell them that I'll be more marketable here after graduating but...
