Hi all

Last week of Jan applicant from India. I have my landing interview process coming up and was wondering if anyone can provide some insight on what to expect.

Can someone let me know how they prepared for the interview? Sounds like it only takes 10 to 15 mins - but what are the kind of questions asked?
Anything that we may not know and need to prepare for?

My only concern is that I'm not great with dates, and if they take us to separate rooms and grill us - I want to make sure I'm prepared.

Thanks!

I doubt that they will do that. You don't even go to a room, they call you up to a counter (at least that's how it was in Etobicoke). Verify the dates of your first and last entry to canada and write it down. Make sure you know which port of entry you came in through. Although we don't have dependents, since I am pregnant, they asked me about my job as the sponsor (I said I am on maternity leave, and I named my workplace before that). Other than that they just ask you if you have committed any crimes, if you have any dependents you haven't declared, or if you have ever been denied entry or been deported from Canada. That's pretty much it. Good luck.

Thank you! Sounds pretty straightforward. Appreciate your input.
