I am presently working as a Front Office Manager in a Hotel. I applied under Accomodation Manager category. Now I recieved an interview letter mentioning to attend interview in Abu Dhabi with my spouse who is in India. The reason given is to determine whether or not I meet the criteria for admission under the category mentioned. Any suggestions or guidance will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Assumming Accommodation Manager gaveyou at least 1 point, you should be OK.The government and CIC refer to the National Occupational Classification (NOC Code) of common job ocupations. From looking on the Job Futures web site, Front Desk Manager is on the same list as Accommodation Manager (both NOC code 063), see link: http://jobfutures.ca/noc/titles/063x.shtml.The work prospects are "FAIR", which is a good thing (better than if "LIMITED"). Please visit the Job Futures website (national edition) for more information, http://jobfutures.ca. I have never attended such an interview, but I guess if you print the information of thewebsite, and take a long your job description, you should be OK.
