I received this email today, I was approved 2 weeks ago and got my COPR on Friday and Landed on Saturday. Officer telling me I am now a Canadian Permanent Resident.
Then today, I receive this email?
Is this some type of scam?
It's addressed to "Undisclosed recipients" which is really odd as well.
Sir/Madam:
I am pleased to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residence will be finalized at an interview that has been scheduled for:
DATE:
Friday, December 12th 2014
TIME:
8:30am – 11:30am
LOCATION:
29 Duke St. East, Kitchener ON
In order to grant you permanent residence, you must provide us with satisfactory original identity documents. All applicants must provide their original valid passports at the landing interview.
You must attend the interview with the following:
Ø All of your dependants in Canada that are included in this application
Ø Your own interpreter, if required
Ø Your sponsor if you are being landed under the In-Canada Spousal/Family Class
Ø Proof you have paid the $490 Right of Permanent Residence Fee (This fee is not required for minors or Convention Refugees): If you have not yet paid this fee, you must do so on-line or at a bank using an HPM receipt.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You MUST make this payment a minimum of 7 business days before your scheduled interview and bring the receipt with you to the interview or this appointment will be re-scheduled.
Ø Two (2) photos for each person on this application taken within the last 12 months – see enclosed appendix for specifications
Ø Your current Social Insurance Number (SIN) card (if a number has been issued to you by Service Canada)
Ø All documents issued to you by Citizenship and Immigration Canada
Persons being landed as Convention Refugees (CR), and their dependants, must provide the originals of the documents sent to CPC-Vegreville. If you are a CR and are unable to provide those documents, you may present any two (2) of the items listed below. They must be issued by the government of your country of citizenship, nationality or last permanent residence.
Ø Passport or travel document
Ø National identification card
Ø Driver’s license
Ø Birth certificate / Family record book
Ø Vote ID card / Military ID card
Ø Statutory Declaration (if accepted by CPC-V)
IMPORTANT

Anybody else receive something like this?
I'm already landed and processed so I really don't get it?
