I received this email today, I was approved 2 weeks ago and got my COPR on Friday and Landed on Saturday. Officer telling me I am now a Canadian Permanent Resident.
Then today, I receive this email?
Is this some type of scam?
It's addressed to "Undisclosed recipients" which is really odd as well.

Sir/Madam:

I am pleased to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residence will be finalized at an interview that has been scheduled for:

DATE:

Ø Your own interpreter, if required
Ø Your sponsor if you are being landed under the In-Canada Spousal/Family Class
Ø Proof you have paid the $490 Right of Permanent Residence Fee (This fee is not required for minors or Convention Refugees): If you have not yet paid this fee, you must do so on-line or at a bank using an HPM receipt.

Ø National identification card
Ø Driver’s license
Ø Birth certificate / Family record book
Ø Vote ID card / Military ID card
Ø Statutory Declaration (if accepted by CPC-V)

Could be an error on their side; seems really odd because you have already landed... to me a mistake has been made and they just need to be advised that you have already landed... I would give CIC a call and explain the situation ASAP.

This would have been an Outland application. Inland applicants receive their CoPR when they attend the landing interview.

I got through to an agent and they just said to disregard the email as I've already landed and that the email would have been organized earlier but hadn't been sent until today or there was a computer error. Also I can reply to the email as a courtesy.
So I've just replied and told them that I've already landed.

It's undisclosed recipients and it was from a proper cic email address. I called up CIC and it's been resolved although my reply email to explain what has happened hasn't been replied back.

Sir/Madam:

I am pleased to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residence will be finalized at an interview that has been scheduled for:

DATE:
Friday, December 12th 2014

In order to grant you permanent residence, you must provide us with satisfactory original identity documents. All applicants must provide their original valid passports at the landing interview.

Ø Your own interpreter, if required

Ø Proof you have paid the $490 Right of Permanent Residence Fee (This fee is not required for minors or Convention Refugees): If you have not yet paid this fee, you must do so on-line or at a bank using an HPM receipt.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You MUST make this payment a minimum of 7 business days before your scheduled interview and bring the receipt with you to the interview or this appointment will be re-scheduled.

If you are a CR and are unable to provide those documents, you may present any two (2) of the items listed below. They must be issued by the government of your country of citizenship, nationality or last permanent residence.

Ø Passport or travel document
Ø National identification card
Ø Driver's license
Ø Birth certificate / Family record book
Ø Vote ID card / Military ID card
Ø Statutory Declaration (if accepted by CPC-V)

IMPORTANT
Failure to appear for this interview may be interpreted as evidence that you are no longer seeking permanent residence in Canada and your file may be closed. For any questions you may have, please contact the CIC Call Centre at 1-888-242-2100.

Anybody else receive something like this?
I'm already landed and processed so I really don't get it?
That is a standard 'form letter' for a landing interview for an Inland applicant. If at any time in your processing you mentioned to your VO that you might have a hard time 'flagpoling' or updated your address for inside of Canada it may have triggered this letter to be sent to you. Even some outland applicants that receive their COPR inside of Canada are unable to 'flagpole' and require an office landing to officially land.

I would not worry too much about getting an email reply back from them. If you have already spoken to CIC and they have identified you as officially landed and your COPR / Passport has been stamped, signed, sealed and sent off for processing of your card via CBSA you should be perfectly fine.
