Hello,
Just listing all the documents to carry during the interview.
I know some are required and some are not but as discussed on the forum, its better to carry all these documents.

1. Test Invite letter - Original
2. Passports - expired and latest - Orginal (of course)
3. Photocopies of biographical pages of passport
4. Permanent Resident cards PRC - Original
5. Record of Landing or Confirmation of Permanent Residence
6. Health Card - Original
7. Drivers License - Original
8. Proof of language proficiency - Test results, degree - Original
9. Notice of Assessment NOA - Original
10. Employment letter - Original
11. T4s

Please suggest if the list is complete and if not, please add to the list.

Very important if any foreign language stamps on the passport arrange

translation this is most important and if you have travel than try to

take with you ticket and boarding card with you to make sure that

you are 100 percent secured. wish you all the best of luck.

I dont have my boarding passes
But I have all stamps in english and my tickets printed via email.

what is the different between "Record of Landing or Confirmation of Permanent Residence" and "Record of Landing document"...?

I am having my interview next week i just want confirm that i am not missing anything

Note to emphasize: Follow the instructions received!

More is not necessary. Less may slip through but risks problems. (Proper translations for anything in passports not in English or French for example . . . I slipped through without a translation for stamps in Spanish, but dated before date of landing . . . but I went to the interview at risk for a problem, a potential CIT 0520 at the least . . . I took a known risk but I do not recommend doing so. Many others also report slipping through despite failing to have proper translations . . . but many others did not slip through, process delayed, complications for some ensued . . . follow the instructions, including those in the Guide relating to documents, including bringing proper translation for anything not in English or French in any of the required documents, especially passports.)

What worked from someone else is not necessarily what will work for another person. And the instructions change from time to time. So, again, FOLLOW the instructions received! Follow the instructions actually received in the communication for attending the test.

If employed carry T4s for the qualifying residence window - some Citizenship Officers (COs) take the view that NOA income may not necessarily prove your job/income is Canada based. In reality the CO has a couple of minutes to make a call on if you need 'extra' attention so they typically skim (albeit one would expect with expertise and to an extent a gut feel I guess) over proffered documents. The CIC 'test/interview' team usually have to get a few hundred people through testing in a 2 hour window especially now CIC has a one year routine process commitment and there is an election looming with all parties keen on getting as many votes read oaths done by then!

What is an employment letter? Is this a letter from your employer saying that you are actually employed by them?
Also what is NOA?

Employment letter - Just a letter from your employer verifying dates of employment (payslips instead of this letter may suffice)
NOA - Notice of Assessment from CRA
