Regional Labour Market Demand
NOVA SCOTIA NOMINEE PROGRAM
The new Regional Labour Market Demand stream is aimed at selecting individuals who meet the labour market needs, are destined to join the labour market with a full-time and permanent position, and wish to live in the Province of Nova Scotia permanently.
Applicants are not required to have a permanent, full-time job offer from a Nova Scotia employer at the time of submitting their application; however, they must intend to pursue employment in an occupation that is in demand in the Province. The outlook for your intended occupation must be good-to-fair in the area you intend to settle in order for your application to be considered under the Regional Labour Market Demand stream.
Please Note: The Nova Scotia Office of Immigration will be accepting complete applications under the Regional Labour Market Demand stream as of March 6, 2014. Below you will find the Regional Labour Market Demand Application Guide which will help you to determine if the Regional Labour Market Demand stream is a good option for you in applying to the Nova Scotia Nominee Program.
Application forms will be posted on this website on February 28, 2014. Regional Labour Market Demand applications received by the Office of Immigration before March 6, 2014 will not be processed until March 6, 2014.
