That depends on how your interview was, please share your interview experience in detail.
Hi
The interview was so smooth and easy, he asked me for some documents and at the end he congratulated me and he said that he will let me pass thru.
He said that he will do further security checks and investigation and he told me that i will receive MR and RPRF within 3 to 4 weeks. (That was on 23-March-2015)
The weird thing is that i received the RPRF (only) the second day and i paid it after 2 days.

Dear Applicant,

* Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp?lob=proc&cat=perm

We look forward to hearing from you within 30 days.

Then,,, in 10-April i received an email again where they requested an updated Schedule A for my wife because there was gaps in the provided dates in Q8 and Q12

I provided them with the updated Schedule with no gaps on 14-April and till now there is no news

How much time does it take to receive MR email after the interview ?

Hi,

just wait,, I know sometimes waiting is killing us when we expect something... however I got MR after 16 days from the interview date. When I received RPRF one day earlier to the MR.

Always email LVO and ask them where they are at with your application, they will always come back, at least they did in my case. my VO was MCH.

good luck

Hi S7,

Your interview was conducted by MCH? or someone else?

Which job documents did you take with yourself at the time of interview.

Hi mwrooney,

I took the experience letter, no the interviewer was not MCH. MCH is the Visa officer who I communicate with on the email.

Thank you S7.

I see but I read your Interview and by reading it, it seems like the interviewer has full authority on your case. So I was just wondering if he is the VO.

You didn't take any other job related documents like joining letter, salary slip, etc?

I took salary slips and some sample of my work, but was not never asked to show these. I was just ready just in case the interviewer asked.

Based on the data available in FSWP2014 spreadsheet of this forum, I have done analysis of the LVO processing speed month wise on basis of total number of applications got PER and from those who got PER, who received MR and applications of each month who got PER and still waiting MR and percentage of those waiting for MR.
As you can notice that still several applicants whose application reached in May are still waiting for MR.
This analysis can give hope to several who still did not hear anything after PER because this is the way "immigration process moves".
India and Pakistan are chosen because most of the LVO applicants are originally from India or from Pakistan. Those who cannot see image in their broswer window of this forum can see the analysis from following link:-

I am a silent observer of this forum. I had interview on 26/03/2015 at Abu Dhabi. Unfortunately like other members my experience is quite different. The visa officer had some doubt on my employer and he told me that I have some serious concern with your employer and i think your reference letter is fake. I asked him to contact my employer through any means as all my documents are real. Then he asked me for only updated forms which I gave him and in the end of the interview he said that I will inform you about my decision in 1 week as I have to review it. Since then I haven't got any reply from LVO ..... Do I believe the game is over for me???? :'(
Did they call your former employers to verify the authenticity of the documents?

Hi everyone,

I have not been in touch with this forum for a while so just wanted to share a bit of news with all you.....

Alhamdulillah by the grace of Almighty ALLAH and prayers and support of my family, i have received my passport with PR visa along with COPR.

My journey took almost a year. Like most of you, i was also in an uncertain situation after receiving PER. Finally, on 28th January 2015, i received an email requesting to appear for an interview at CHC Abu Dhabi. Just like the majority of applicants, i was somewhat afraid to be honest but i kept praying and preparing for the interview. One thing which kept me positive was the self belief that if i could somehow clear the interview, my process will move from cramped queue to the fast lane and this is exactly what happened.

My interview was held on 22nd March 2015 during which the visa officer told me that i can expect to receive MR in the next 2 weeks but guess what, i received RPRF + Passport Bio pages request on 26th March 2015 and received MR on 27th March 2015. Following is my complete timeline from which some of you can hopefully draw some inspiration:

Application received at CIO: 16th May 2014
Fee Encashed Date: 26th Aug 2014
PER: 05th Sep 2014
Interview Email: 28th Jan 2015
Interview Held: 22nd Mar 2015
RPRF +PP Bio pages Req: 26th Mar 2015
MR: 27th Mar 2015
MR Done: 14th Apr 2015
Passport Req: 27th Apr 2015
Passport Submission at VAC: 29th Apr 2015
Passport Collected: 07th May 2015

I have shared my interview experience in detail at page # 127 of this thread.

All those who have received interview requests should consider themselves lucky as this presents you a great opportunity to speed up your case so be motivated and make use of this opportunity. To the rest of the applicants, just hang in there, in sha ALLAH all your dreams will come true.

Jazak ALLAH brother

I went to UAE with the sole intention of clearing my visa interview but ALLAH Almighty granted me a job in dubai as well, so for the time being i have decided to take up this new assignment in Dubai, stay there to gather some useful funds and then In Sha ALLAH i will fly to Canada permanently by end of March or first week of April 2016.

By the way, whats your plan?

glad to hear it worked for you here in Dubai, My advise for you, don't get tempted much by what dubai offers in long term after April 2016, so stick to your plan to leave by April 2016.

My Plan is to fly in August inshallah, its just I'm not sure where to land, I have shortlisted Calgary and Ottawa.... I have opened a new thread to get the feedback from others http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/toronto-vs-calgary-vs-vancouver-vs-ottawa-where-to-land-t282472.15.html

Congrats for those who have got their Visas from CHC and pray for those who are waiting their Visas.

Kindly let me know that is it mandatory to take your funds proof along while appearing for the interview? And, can one take along a valuation report for the assets he/she possesses as a proof of funds and inform the Interviewer that he/she would liquidate them once the application is approved and visa is issued? Thanks for the reply.

Quick tips:
- Read t CIC website specific sections from A to z they have all of the basic and important information there.
- Read the forum, and if there is a conflict go with the CIC website go with the CI website
when applying and if you are missing any documents and you are a genuine applicant, justify it with proper related proof as much as you can. CIC know that such cases exist and if you can convince them that you are missing something for a valid reason then they will accept it.

without this forum and its members this made it easy and valuable, and I 'm willing to help anyone if they have questions, please drop m a PM as i don't do daily follow up on the big topics.

Wish you all the best and thanks for the support
