Oh! I thought that even if one is on implied status it would be counted .ThanksIt will not count for CEC; after you receive the PGWP, then it will start counting your work experience in Canada.
Incorrect. Work experience counts from the date you apply for the PGWP.It will not count for CEC; after you receive the PGWP, then it will start counting your work experience in Canada.
You are correct.Oh! I thought that even if one is on implied status it would be counted .Thanks
Yes, as long as it is in a skilled occupation (NOC O, A, or B).Am on implied status for pgwp ,does a full time paid internship count as work experience after applying for pgwp towards work experience for CEC

Please don’t give wrong information. It will not count for CEC; after you receive the PGWP, then it will start counting your work experience in Canada.
I am pretty sure that if it is internship, even a payed one, it cannot count for CEC. It could, probably, as for work experience in general FSW, and for sure for the resume it will be counted as Canadian experience, but for immigration under CEC you should prove that you have a valid work permit, and the work cannot be part of your studies, therefore I still think it cannot count under CEC. May the more knowledgeable correct me.Please don’t give wrong information.
If don’t know better not to reply.
I am not being rude just asking.
Thank you.

I hope you're right, although, it depends on the VO and some luck when making an argument. Please check this website:-

And look for this note.
Note: Work experience acquired while under implied status will be considered as eligible work experience under the CEC, provided the applicant continued to work in Canada under the same conditions as their original work permit until a decision was made on their application for a work permit extension.
