I think its important to remember the settlement board is not very popular, so people do not check the threads as often as other boards. also, most people are not in Ottawa, therefore they may not have anything valuable to share.
as far as I know, there is a cheap internet service in the Ottawa area. I don't remember the name of the company, so i'm sure if you google "internet options in Ottawa" something will pop up. as far as I know rogers and bell offer bundle packages, so cable and internet together cost around $120 a month.

You have to remember you are in Canada and nothing is cheap and good here. Especially small cities like Ottawa. This is why no one responded to you. Dont take it personally because we are all paying ridiculous cost for everything from basic hygiene to basic technology and services.tiarachel85 said:
