International Studs. Allowed to work on June 1st.2014 True?

I do know international students will be allowed to get a part time job from June 1st 2014 according to the government website which I cannot post in here. Now, my question is Do I have to apply for something first in some government office or I can directly apply for a job from June 1st 2014 with my student visa.

u dont need to apply any where..ur study permit will allow u to do part time job 20 hrs per week right from the first day..let us have some replies from others as well.
 
If you are already here studying, no one knows yet how the new rules will apply.

You DO need to have a SIN number before you can work. You get that from Service Canada and you have to apply in person. You get the SIN number straight away.
 
Thanks so much . I just confirmed with u what u said cuz I heard I need a SIN in order to work. So I´ll do that. ;D
 
You will be able to do that IF the new rules will include students already in the country on a study permit.
