Hi, My study permit expires in end of August. My Master's degree thesis is completed and I am getting the letter of eligibility to graduate from university next week. I have updated my SIN number which obviously begin with 9 till end of august(visa and study permit expiry). Now I am getting offers from companies for jobs. One thing I need to get sure. Am I allowed to work when I apply for Postgraduate Workpermit online(after getting eligibility to graduate letter) and soon(by next day etc)in an organization full time till I get this Postgraduate workpermit. I can't apply for Off-campus workpermit as it is no longer given to students from June1. Please reply to this post as soon as possible. I have seen the rules of CIC but I wanted to make sure of it. Also I will have to renew visa and workpermit.
Please reply me asap with consulting any experts. I tried to call call center of CIC but of no use.I m not getting their call at all properly.

Hi, you should not work until you get a Post Graduate Work Permit. Your potential employer can wait until you're legally entitled to work.
Once you receive confirmation from the university that you graduated, apply for the PGWP. If you attach an offer letter from an employer, it'll help your case even more. I would keep trying to call CIC and speak to an agent to confirm.

No, OP can work full time under implied status pending decision on PGWP. Must apply for PGWP with 90 days of receiving transcripts (not degree).

You can work full time off campus..! Just apply PGWP notify your employer about it..! It may take time but hope for the best ;D
