Hello ya'all,

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could answer this question

am an international grad student. I have a part time job lined up for during the winter break. I am aware that international students are allowed to work 20 hrs/week during term time and full time during breaks. I officially finish this semester a week before everyone else (final exam and everything) and so was wondering when does the full time period start. Like can I work full time after I finish my exams, or would I have to wait for the university to officially close down before I can start working full time

We used to worry so much about this question during my time in school. It turns out once your exams are completed you are officially on holidays.

You can work as much as you want until classes resume in January.

If you want to be really sure then check with your international student centre on campus

Thanks for that Papa

The international student immigration adviser a my university is away till January and the few other people that I asked gave me conflicting advises.
