Dears, if an international student completes his/her master program from Canadian University.
1) Can he get the work permit after completion of the degree?
2) How much time will he/she be granted to stay after the completion of the degree and before getting the work permit?
3) Can the spouse of student work (do job) during his/her studying period or after the studies?

I shall be thankful, if you can help me in this regard.

1. only if the uni is offering a pgwp qualified program. you can check here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/prepare/designated-learning-institutions-list.html

2. depends on the length of the program. 1 year qualifies for 1 year pgwp. 2 years or more may qualify for up to 3 years pgwp

3. yes, spouse may qualify for owp

what does this means? what stage do you think i am. I submitted my online application on the 28th of July,2018. for my study permit. I applied for work permit for my wife and study permit for my two daughters. i need more explanation to know where i stand.
