Hi Members,

would anyone be able to guide me with my situation please.

Im completing the internship component of my masters degree which in total is a 2 years program.

so i have finished a year and half of the education from university and now Im working as an investment advisor with TD wealth for my internship component which is 6 months long and then i graduate from university and then apply for post grad work permit etc etc.

can anyone think of a situation wherein i can apply for express entry now itself, i have a feeling i can but im new so dont want to risk the chances.

im in vancouver and the express entry is closed here till january so i wondering if i could do a profile in any other province.

My profile comes under management category of NOC and it is a manager grade position that is full time and permanent converted into an internship for the first 6 months. When i checked with my manager she said it would be 0111 as its an investment services manager role.

seniors and friends kindly throw your thoughts here.

thanks a lot.

There is no downside to creating an EE profile - it is much like creating any other online membership profile - you provide basic details, the system determines your eligibility and, if you're in, you input even more details to finally be accepted into the pool.

Start with the 'Come to Canada' tool to confirm your eligibility and take it from there. First, you have to be eligible to get into the pool. Next, you need a sufficiently high score to get an ITA. Whether you then apply to CIC or not is the third step - cross that bridge if and when you get there.

All the best!

PS: In July, CIC reported that nearly 49,000 application under EE were ineligible - that is just over 40% of the overall pool strength as on that date. That is more than a fair indicator that a lot of people do try creating profiles to test the waters - no harm in doing that.

Hi rahul, I'm an international student too. If you have good research skill and spend time on this forum to gather information, then you absolutely don't need a consultant or attorney. I made a mistake and waste $120 for an appointment with a pretty reputable consultant in my city, and everything she "advices" me I already knew beforehand. It's not as hard as you think it is so don't worry.

Correct Alexios. No need of Consultant. Did you apply for EE already? I'm eligible to apply under EE next month but score is pretty low (376 after one year canadian experience). I might go for PNP first and then federal.
