Depends on your school. Check with them what their policy is.

I did, and in my case I got a refund worth 1/2 the differential for international students. I know some institutions would not do that and will just adjust your tuition for the following term.

Again it depends on your school so you will have to check directly. Usually this policy is outlined, and should be, somewhere in the webpage.

I'd suggest connect with the people in the International Students office, they should know this.

Just ask for refund if you will give an option you will never get as staff is lethargic. They will spend months in checking as some of them are not even aware of policies and procedures. Would recommend being assertive in this matter.

cannot refund because beyond 10 days according to http://www.tcu.gov.on.ca/pepg/documents/TuitionandAncillaryFees.pdf

it does not state anything about status change though

sometimes staff attending lacks common sense and they are rigid. Better speak to someone more senior in the team
