I am a foreign student who wish to study in Quebec province. I'm currently considering 3 year vocational training program at CEGEP (Dawson college). As required for obtaining a CAQ, I do possess financial resources for all the living expanses (around $35k for 3 years) but I need extra $30k to pay for tuition fees OR vice versa. So what I need is a student loan of $30k. And fortunately, I do have a relative who is a citizen of Canada but he has a spouse and one kid (they are all citizens of Canada already). The question is what are my chances of taking a loan if my relative agrees to be a co-signer?
