Is it possible to find a 1bedroom with 1bathroom unit in downtown or near downtown under $1,500 a month?
Estimated costs of the ff (on a monthly basis) : ELECTRICITY, WATER, WIRELESS INTERNET , CABLE

As in brand new modern condo? No.

As in slightly older, no dishwasher, no ensuite washer/dryer yes.

Oh not necessarily brand new, clean would be nice Well that's okay. You have any links or names of the apartments I can look at? I'd appreciate it big time. Been drooling just looking at rentitfurnished.com , so many luxurious rentals!

Oh and by the way - if the person behind an ad says that he is abroad, can't show you the apartment, you can view the building from outside, he'll send you the keys when you have paid the deposite/firs/last month rent. Do tell the scammer to f*** off. All of them rip you off.

Hi,

$1300-1400 is a good amount to get 1bhk condo easily in Toronto Downtown.
It won't be a problem in Vancouver too.
If you have employment letter and good credit history. Then just walk to any real estate agent. They will guide you.
If not, Then search in Kijiji. Definitely you'll find something good.

Hahaha! Living in vancouver will really cost you an arm and leg. I'd like to settle between 1200-1300 just praying I can find a decent and clean place.
