Hi guys,

I plan to travel with study permit in August, my husband and daugher has visitor visa, can they came with me? are they allowed to enter Canada? The information on IRCC is confusing, they say that it is ok without written authorisation but in another section they say only one person cand travel with me. Do you have any experiences? Thanks in advance

First hope you are not from one of the countries that are currently on the travel suspension list. Yes you can enter Canada - negative PCR test for each person , you all will have to isolate in a hotel (as per Covid-19) rules etc. For your family to come with you, they have to show they are staying 15 days or more - maximum 6months

Hope this helps

Thank you. My country is green of covid and we are vaccinated. They have eTA but as I could read on IRCC I am allowed to take only one person with me , and I have to take my daughter aswell.

Did you travelled with your faily?

You can go with anyone that has a visa. As long as they are your dependents. I did not travel with family but I know people who have
