alright so my dad is willing to hire my husband for his renovation job and is gonna do the LMIA application but then i read under the international mobility workers that he may not need it if he's waiting for PR to be finalized. my question is, is that if we are applying for sponsorship inbound vs outbound?

alright so my dad is willing to hire my husband for his renovation job and is gonna do the LMIA application but then i read under the international mobility workers that he may not need it if he's waiting for PR to be finalized. my question is, is that if we are applying for sponsorship inbound vs outbound?

I would advice you to wait if he is currently waiting for his PR to be finalized. It could complicate things and even worst delay both visa as to why would he be applying for a LMIA while under going a sponsorship visa.

I applied for my sponsorship visa outbound and it took me 9 months while my friend done it inbound and he got his within 4 months but I guess it depends on the agent or if your situation is straight forward no children or living in other countries for more then 6 months etc
