Hi Everyone,

As a landed immigrant, I was wondering if I can use an international driving licence for the first 3 months?

Appreciate your answer.
 
Divers license limits are governed at provincial level. Most provinces require that you change your license for a local provincial drivers license within 3 months after settling in the province. This is true for immigrants as much as it is for Canadians. Counted from the date you effectively have an address in the province where you reside. (legal address for correspondence) Check with the provincial licensing authority to ensure you have the right information regarding the province you are looking to settle in.
 
Driver's licensing says you can but someone senior here says not if one is stopped by RCMP:
