Hello to all of you,

This thread might bring out those people whom did recently applied for the Fall 2020 batch at Canadian universities.

I have applied to following universities and waiting for a decision:-

1. University of Calgary
2. University of Saskatchewan
3. McGill University
4. York University
5. Brock University

Thinking to apply at:- 1. University of Alberta

Any idea when will we start getting decisions over the application ? I have applied for Computer Science BTW.

It's great to hear from you. If you do get into McGill then will definitely meet as well. I might get into McGill, I have applied as a transfer student. I did got an offer from Brock but still waiting for others to make one.

Hi there !

That's great, I would definitely want you to apply at Calgary as well. You do have more than what minimum they've been asking. The admission criteria depends on admission average, don't worry about your predictive percentage at the moment, who knows the average drops to 65% !

86% is really good and you've done well in SAT as well, 7.5 is acceptable as the minimum score required is 6.5

Great choice though ! I have applied for the same program's as well. BSc is my first choice and BEng is second.

I do have many of my friends studying over there and I've been researching over UoC since a long time so if you do need any information please let me know and i'll surely help you out, you may whatsapp me as well.

I'm not a student over there at the moment however I wish to be for the program I have applied for

There deadline is 1st March so apply before that BTW.

Thank you for encouraging me. Hahahah you should be the Visa officer .The lack of travel history that what is worrying me. And the fact I don't have a bank account

Thank you for the advice tho ! Look being afraid won't do anything, it'll just create tensions for you. Take it easy and I'm sure you'll get it.

Lack of travel history doesnt mean you will get rejected however they might recheck your application twice. I do not have a bank account as well so dont worry about that. You can show funds of your father's bank account or you may contact your parent's bank they would help you alot as well as they do help in showing funds.

I exactly thought the same, do you think it has a high acceptance rate though ?

I havent applied at Uni of Alberta yet and confused between both..
