How many of those employees are actually immigration/visa officers? I assume that the "Canadian Based" staff are the VO's, and the local staff are secretaries, security etc?????

haha...never mind...these numbers are just for CIC staff, not total embassy staff numbers!

Did you note that the list is from 2009? Look at http://w03.international.gc.ca/CRA-RCE/index.aspx input the office name. Then you can count the No. of Immigration officers. Doesn't include locally based staff. E.g. Singapore has 12 your link shows 7.

Sigh... there's never any information about CPP-O

This is because it's a new office and there isn't enough data to make this information available. In a few months or so I'm sure you'll start to see some more stuff pop up about it.

But I understand, Ottawa is my VO and I would really like to know what is going on under that roof once my application gets there.
