Interesting - Getting Sued while application is in process

If your permanent residency application is in process and if you get sued for smal amount like 500 - 1000. Does this have any affect on your application which is in progress?

I think that the only thing that would affect your application is a criminal charge. Here is a link to conditions that would make a person inadmissible:

You don't get sued for not paying a bill. Stop paying your bills they go to a collections agency who hound you like stink on a beer fart. A small claims action is a civil matter and insomuch is not a concern for CIC I would think.
