i received an email from OINP intent to refuse letter.which says my noc code 2241 is not matches with my wages ie $14. now i realize the perfect match for my job is 2242 and its minimum wage is also 14.
can i request to OINP to change my noc code.

Yes, but it has to match the job duties in all letters from the employer you got, otherwise you may waste time.
Call them.

yes, my job duties are truly matches with both 2241 and 2242. but wages only matches with 2242.
will they accept my application.

Hi,

I am also in the same situation before. What we did is (me and my employer) changed the salary/rate per hour into the Median Wage of that particular job or NOC (checked the median wage). After a week or two, my nomination was approved.

thanks for your reply guys. this means alot to me. now my employer gave them reply to change noc code and thn we received the email that they need the employer form again with the updated noc code. now we sent it and waiting for reply.

Hi, I have the similar problem. I mentioned my NOC as 1241 but all my employment letter is based on 1221. I don't know if they will refuse my application or I shall call them to change it.

Send updated job offer with a median level wage equal to your NOC or greater than that. It will help.

I waited until I got the FN, then sent a explaination letter & updated AINP012 form to them.
Everything's fine, I got my nomination
