I Am Indian residing in UAE , an IP consultant /expert in Trademark Portfolio management , trademark registration and protection around the world , i currently work for a legal firm in Dubai .

I have just got in touch with an immigration consultant, they had assured me that in next 9 months i could land in Canada with a job ,
i am aware even if i get a job through express entry migration program ,the sustainability of that job is not at all assured ,

what are my chances of getting a job in IP/paralegal/Legal secretary or assistant jobs in Canada.
do i really have to go forward with the PR proceedings .

Your chances of getting a job before you are a PR are pretty much zero. An employer has to obtain an approved LMIA before you can apply for a work permit. The LMIA is a very long and very expensive process with no guarantee of approval. The vast majority of employers are not willing to go through the steps required to get one.

Be very careful with agencies. There are many who are scams and they jobs they are offering are not real.

A lot of Immigration consultants will say anything just to get your money. As scylla said you would need an approved LMIA before you even started the process.

The legal field is in transition in Canada. With the use of computers and various outsourcing there isn't as much need for legal secretaries, paralegals and law students. I would think you would habe to take a Canadian Couurse to become a paralegal to get hired to be competitive. Consultants tell you anything. Getting accepted as a PR is one thing but having a similar job when you have worked in the field of law in your home country is very different.
