Hi all,

I have an undergraduate/integrated Masters degree from a UK University. What this means is, I did a 4 year course, at the end of which I received a Masters, but no Bachelors. I have already had my course evaluated by WES, the result being as follows

CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY
Master's degree

and under CREDENTIAL ANALYSIS:

Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's and master's degree

The WES report does not say anything about the length of the course. On my EE profile, I simply entered that I have a Masters as the highest level of education, and the just put my one course of length 4 years for the education details. This automatically gave me the skills transferability points for have 2 or more degrees.

I dont know if the immigration officer would see the above as only a single credential, or as two credentials (do they look at the summary or the detail?), so is there anyone who has a UK integrated Masters who has applied for PR after receiving an ITA, and know how the above is viewed?

I all of a sudden became concerned about this after reading a few random topics, so any help is much appreciated!

My CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY is also Master's degree, but I'm worried that for my Bachelors, they've said the following
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (three years)

Does it make a difference for my FSW points? My CRS points don't seem to be negatively affected.

Contact WES and ask if they can provide fuller information on your report i.e. under Canadian equivalence "Bachelors (three years) and Masters (one year)", presumably as these time periods are backed up by a transcript. Also get an award letter from your university confirming that the first 3 years of your integrated masters is a bachelors level qualification and the fourth year yields a Masters award, and that in your case you have completed both the 3 year course and the additional Masters year. The important thing to remember is that to be awarded points for "two or more degrees", one of these must be >=3 years.

hi, what do you think about my case? i did a 4-year long undergrad, perhaps a month less than 4 years as fall semester began in August and my summer semester ended in July

If your degree has been evaluated as being equivalent to a Canadian Bachelors degree (either 3 or 4 years), you're good to go. It doesn't matter how long your actual degree was, the equivalence is what gets you EE points.
