Insurance options when soft-landing

Hello All.
My senior parents are coming (well, hopefully) for soft-landing in Ontario this summer and are planning to stay for about a month. AFAIK they won't be eligible for OHIP, so need some kind of private insurance. Should we buy a private insurance the way people usually do before getting OHIP, or we rather get travel insurance as they are basically visitors?

Price and coverage is probably going to be pretty similar for a 1 month stay, shop around.
