Hi,

Even though I have completed 8 months of work experience in Canada under NOC-B skilled worker. I checked my CRS points and it is above the cut-off (454). My question is am I eligible for Express Entry as my CRS Points are full or is it mandatory to complete 12 months of work and then apply ?

Also, if someone could help me find which NOC for an "Associate Manager" as I am unable to find this job title.

Thank you
Maneesha

You may want to search with your industry / job domain. A person can be associate manager in a bank, retail store, insurance, finance etc. etc.

CRS points and eligibility are two separate things.

To qualify for CEC, you need at least 52 weeks of full-time work experience in Canada.

Unless you have any foreign work experience in addition to the 8 months of Canadian work experience (which means you might qualify for FSW), you currently do not qualify.

Hi Dan,

Thank you for your response. However, I do have one year of foreign experience. Could you guide me on what should be my next steps if I am eligible for FSW?

FSW draws are on hold for now. When they restart, 454 is not going to be high enough to be selected.

What is the cut off for FSW currently?

FSW draws haven't happened in a few months now. When they restart, expect 470+.

Hard to say with so few details. If this was a low wage for a job in Canada, then yes, that can matter and impact PR.

I am an Associate Manager in Retail (Fashion); however, I am not able to find that title on the NOC website. Can anyone help me, please? Because I have tried with all other similar titles but is that okay if it matches to the title closely?

Hi,

Can anyone help me to know if we need only offer letters from our job or the relieving letter too for the jobs that we did in the past?
