"In transit" is misleading word which they use to mean "in process". It will remain like this until the processing of your file. Once it is returned the status will change to "return to origin"

yr i asked to visatronix they said normally after 2months status becomes intransit...than it became unvalid for 4days than once again status turn to intransit... now yesterday i talked to visatronix isd they said that intransit status maximum 14days remains atvisatronix than it will delievered to you.... totally confused everybody giving his new science...

Couriers don't know anything about the processing time. It's upto the embassy if when will they return your documents. I don't think the 14 days thing will be true.
